There are basically three types of Explosives:-

1.    Special Gelatine or Dynamite

2.    Slurries or Water-gel

3.    Emulsion

Special Gelatine is banned in Nigeria for safety and security reasons. Slurries have their advantages but Emulsion explosives are the latest generation explosives that when properly initiated, gives as much or more power than Dynamite but safe to handle.  We market Slurries and Emulsions manufactured by our technical Partners, Solar Industries India Limited.  We also import and market some specialty brands and blasting accessories and machines from Europe and the United States of America.

OUR PRODUCTS SPECIFICATION

High Explosives – We offer “Superpower 90” 90mm which is an emulsion based explosives manufactured by Solar Industries India Limited. The product is of high velocity of detonation (VOD up to 6000m/sec) which promotes/ensures good fragmentation in large diameter blast holes. Superpower is been proven to be stronger than conventional special gelatine explosives. It has excellent water resistance with high degree of safety against accidental detonation. Superpower is reliably initiated by No. 6 & 8 detonators, Nonel detonators or standard Detonating Cord. Other details are as enumerated in the technical literature below:
